Is Northern Serenity caffeinated? 

No. This blend is made entirely from herbal ingredients, including rooibos, cacao bits, mint, and vanilla. None of them contain caffeine, so it's safe to enjoy any time of day, including right before bed.

Can I drink this iced? 

Absolutely. Steep it hot first, then pour over ice. It makes a great iced tisane, especially on warm days.

How much tea should I use per cup? 

Use about 1 teaspoon per 8 oz. of water. You can adjust to taste from there.

Does this taste sweet on its own?

It has a naturally sweet quality from the vanilla and cacao, but it's not sugary. Most people enjoy it unsweetened, though it also works well with honey or a splash of oat milk.

Is this blend organic? Yes. All four ingredients are certified organic.

Can I drink this if I'm pregnant or nursing? Rooibos is generally considered safe during pregnancy, and this blend is caffeine-free, which is a plus. That said, peppermint in large amounts may not be recommended in all stages of pregnancy. As always, check with your doctor before adding anything new during pregnancy or while nursing.
