Organic White Peony Tea | Bai Mu Dan

Elegant and gently uplifting, Organic White Peony (Bai Mu Dan) is a premium white tea harvested in early spring. Handpicked to include a downy silver bud and two tender leaves, this exquisite tea offers a naturally sweet, smooth, and lightly vegetal flavor that pairs beautifully with food.

Despite the name, there are no peony blossoms in this tea—only whole tea leaves and buds that resemble a blooming peony in shape.

As a type of white tea—the least processed of all teas— White Peony is simply picked and dried, allowing it to retain its delicate flavor and natural antioxidants.

Because of its large, fluffy leaves, we package it in sturdy boxes to protect against crushing and preserve the integrity of the tea. When brewing we recommend using an infuser that is large enough for the leaves to expand. 

Brewing Instructions:

• Use 1 tsp. per 8 oz. of water
  
  

• Heat water to 175–185°F
  
  

• Steep for 3 to 5 minutes
  
  

• Re-steep up to 4 times — flavor deepens with each infusion
