Pu'erh Tea
Indulge in the authentic taste of Southwestern China with Sipping Streams’ best pu’erh tea collection. Pu’erh teas are first made into a primary tea - either green and uncooked, or black - also referred as cooked. The leaves are then pile fermented with controlled moisture and temperature levels. The fermented teas are best known for being pressed into dense pu’erh tea cakes, which can assume various forms and shapes. We also offer organic pu’erh tea as a loose leaf tea. Pu’erh tea is known for its earthy, musty aroma with a rich and thick, smooth taste. Many pu’erh teas improve with age as long as they are stored properly. A few teas have delicate and very sweet cups and aromas. The liquor colors vary from golden green to coffee-black. Authentic pu'erh is only from Southeastern (Yunnan) China. Other teas made in the same processing style, not from Yunnan, China are sometimes known as "dark teas". Shop now and enjoy the many pu’erh tea benefits!
