The Chinese name, “Bai Mu Dan”, literally means white peony blossom. There is no peony in this tea, just an exquisite white tea. Harvested only during early spring, this tea is handpicked to include a downy, silver spring bud, and 2 leaves from last year. Smooth and savory with a light vegetal taste, this white tea pairs well with most foods.
