The rare Kenyan Gold Black Tea offers an exquisite sip of Kenyan terroir. Single-estate grown in Nandi Hills, this special tea cultivar yields sweet golden-leaf buds (buds are the unopened top tea leaves on the bush, essentially the cream of the crop!). Unlike our Mt Kenya Black Tea, this tea is best enjoyed without milk and sugar.

One of my favorite black teas with a satisfying full bodied flavor without bitterness and the flavor doesn’t seem to change much after re-steeping . A little goes a long way for me using a teaspoon amount per coffee cup (12 oz-16 oz). With a little whole milk and sweetener I’m a happy camper in the morning. Its tasty without milk and/or sweetener but this is my preference. The 2 oz package comes loose leaf.
